Semi-trailer operators spend countless hours in the vehicle’s cab. Keeping this interior space clean can go a long way toward helping the operator stay comfortable and avoid distractions. 1. Remove All Trash

Trash can quickly build up in your semi-trailer’s interior if you are not careful. Not only can all that clutter make it harder to focus, but it will also attract unwelcome pests into your truck. We recommend keeping a couple of trash bags around so that you have a place to put all your garbage. When the bag starts to get too full, you can simply throw it away when you reach your next stop.

2. Regularly Vacuum

It is very easy to accidentally bring dirt or gunk into your semi-trailer’s interior through your shoes. Luckily, a quick vacuum can clear this problem right up. Don’t forget to vacuum in hard-to-reach places such as under floor mats or covers. Speaking of floor mats and covers, they also need to be cleaned every so often.

3. Clean the Windows

Keeping your semi-trailer’s windows clean will help you maintain proper visibility. Luckily, your standard window cleaner will usually do the trick. Some semi-trailer owners keep their windows clean using a newspaper and paper towel but bear in mind that this method can damage tinted windows.

4. Clean the Leather Seats

Cleaning your semi-trailer’s seats is relatively simple. The main thing to worry about is accidentally damaging the leather by using the wrong product. Make sure that whatever product you use won’t leave a stain or harm the seat itself.
